1. Scope
This policy forms part of the Terms of Service and applies to text, voice, receipts, attachments, records, AI results, and exports processed through Nightingale. Local processing does not remove your responsibility for lawful use.
2. Your responsibilities
Have the rights and consent needed to process the information you enter. Verify amounts, currencies, dates, tax values, categories, and the meaning of every captured entry. Review answers and exports against original records before relying on them. Follow applicable recordkeeping, privacy, professional, and disclosure requirements, and obtain qualified human review for regulated decisions.
3. Fraud and deception
Do not use Nightingale to fabricate receipts, falsify accounts, conceal transactions unlawfully, evade taxes, launder money, conduct scams, impersonate others, or knowingly misrepresent financial results. Do not present generated content as independently verified, professionally certified, or officially approved when it is not.
4. Rights, privacy, and safety
Do not infringe intellectual-property, privacy, contractual, or other rights; process another person’s confidential data without authority; or use the Services for unlawful surveillance, discrimination, harassment, exploitation, or harmful illegal activity. Do not enter passwords, recovery secrets, full payment-card credentials, or unnecessary government identifiers. Minimize sensitive information in records and redact support attachments.
5. Professional and high-impact decisions
Do not use AI output as the sole basis for tax filings, investment decisions, lending, insurance, employment, legal rights, or access to essential services. Nightingale’s summaries support recordkeeping; they do not replace an accountant, tax professional, financial adviser, or lawyer. You remain responsible for submissions and decisions made using your records.
6. Technical misuse
Do not attack, overload, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to the app or its providers; bypass security or safety controls; extract credentials or private information; or help others misuse the Services. Restrictions on reverse engineering do not override rights expressly granted by applicable law.
7. Enforcement and reports
We may act on reports or information lawfully available to us, including restricting beta access or support, addressing vulnerabilities, or responding to legal requirements. We do not routinely inspect your encrypted local vault and cannot remotely moderate content we cannot access. Report suspected misuse or security concerns to levin@fourandthree.com; do not include unnecessary sensitive data.
8. Changes and related policies
Read this policy with our Privacy Policy and AI Risk Disclosure. The Terms of Service control in the event of a conflict, subject to mandatory law. Updates will show their effective date and apply prospectively, with further notice where required.
